PORTLAND
TRIBUNE
Portland,
Oregon, USA
2001
The
Portland Tribune, a free twice-a-week broadsheet, was launched
to provide much-needed competition to Portland's chain-owned daily,
The Oregonian.
Tony
Sutton's innovative design of the multi-sectioned paper emphasised
strong photograpy in a bold display that was geared for noticability
in racks on the streets of Portland.
Headlines
are in Bureau Grotesque and Giovanni Condensed with text in Worldwide.
