HERALD It's always good to be in at the birth of a new publication, especially if you're working with smart people. NDA's Tony Sutton became involved with Scotland's newest national paper, the Sunday Herald when there were only three others involved: Andrew Jaspan, the editor; and editorial consultants Charles McGhee and Lesley Riddoch. The design of the pages came together very quickly although some of the 'best' ideas – like the upside-down back page for each section – were rejected as being too quirky. The broadsheet has won many awards for design and content since its launch and is now considered one of the world's best papers.
