It's
always good to be in at the birth of a new publication, especially
if you're working with smart people.
NDA's
Tony Sutton became involved with Scotland's newest national paper,
the Sunday Herald when there were only three others involved:
Andrew Jaspan, the editor; and editorial consultants Charles McGhee
and Lesley Riddoch.
The
design of the pages came together very quickly although some of
the 'best' ideas like the upside-down back page for each
section were rejected as being too quirky.
The broadsheet has won many awards for design and content since
its launch and is now considered one of the world's best papers.
